Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join our client in Rocky Mount. This is a 1st shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing company that values teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Follow detailed instructions and specifications to ensure assemblies meet quality standards
- Inspect and verify parts for accuracy before and after assembly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety and housekeeping guidelines
- Complete assigned projects within required deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or technical instructions
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift
- Previous assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and reliability with good attendance record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
