Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an AR Accountant for our well established Construction Client in Apex, NC. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with excellent benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Verify and Import quantities and truck hours weekly into accounting system (Foundation)
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable invoices
- Prepare special monthly billings per DOT cutoff
- i.e.: 5th, 7th, 15th and 22nd
- Prepare special monthly billings per DOT cutoff
- Research and resolve disputed receivables and answer customer inquiries
- Deposit customer payments daily to online bank portal and post into accounting system
- Physical checks
- ACH payments
- Payment applications, lien waivers, consent of surety releases, affidavits, no claim letters and other documentation required by contractors to process payments
- Provide and maintain a high level of customer service both internally and externally
- Assist with the daily responsibilities of the accounting department, monthly and annual close process
- Ad Hoc projects and analysis as needed
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in Accounts Receivable/Billing position
- Associates Degree preferred
- Must have strong attention to detail to execute with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong communication, writing, editing, and grammar skills
- Must have strong organization skills & be able to multi-task
- Experience in construction industry a plus
