Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Manager/Controller for a small fast growing Company in Morrisville, NC. This position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, cash & risk management. This position will need to produce periodic financial reports, maintain adequate system of accounting records, maintain set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risks while upholding high standards and awareness regarding generally accepted accounting principles. This position will oversee 2 Accounting Staff and will be responsible for all aspects of accounting systems and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day functionality and operations of our accounting system, including but not limited to: Sales transactions/Customer Receipts/POs/Vendor Payments.
- Work with department managers on a weekly basis, participate and engage in Operations Meetings.
- Perform month end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts & monitor accounts for discrepancies.
- Produce monthly financial statements (income/balance sheet) & journal entries.
- Produce monthly sales commission reports.
- Maintain 12 week rolling cash flow forecast
- Review & approve expense reports.
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
- Manage annual budget and forecast.
- Provide financial analyses as needed for pricing decisions, contract negotiations and capital investments.
- Comply with local, state and federal govt reporting requirements and tax filings.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting, Masters preferred. Preference given to CPA or related certifications.
- 5 yrs in Accounting Management role with direct reports
- Experience within medical supply, manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceuticals and how rebates/chargebacks work – preferred.
- Experience in implementing/managing large ERP systems, including establishing/documenting standard operating procedures and best practices
- 3 yrs experience working in a small business setting (up to 50 employees)
