Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager for our well established (50 yrs) client in Raleigh.  This position is 100% onsite but offers a great work culture where work-life balance is a priority for all employees.  As Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the accuracy of the financial records. You will be responsible for a diverse set of tasks ranging from administrative duties to financial multi-company management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with QuickBooks (multi-company) and excel in multitasking, problem-solving, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general ledger entries.
  • Collaborate with management to create and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with Sales and Use Tax filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare financial documentation and assist with audits as necessary.
  • Process monthly expense reports and enter into financial reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, as needed.
  • Assist with vendors and suppliers for office-related services.
  • Assist as HR back-up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in multi-company accounting processes (QuickBooks preferred).
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years Accounting experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
