Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager for a well-established & growing Construction Client in RTP, NC.  The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, maintenance of the general ledger, and analysis of financial information. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and providing training and support to accounting staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering solid benefits and a great work culture!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the work of accounting staff, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory and Payroll
  • Solid understanding of Inventory
  • Ensure that all financial reporting is GAAP complaint and is accurate and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Maintain and update the chart of accounts
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Post journal entries and maintain ledgers
  • Assist with budget preparation and analysis
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in an accounting role
  • 5+ years proven experience mentoring or leading a team
  • MS Dynamics experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
