Accentuate Staffing is seeking an Accounting Invoice Specialist for an established manufacture in Raleigh, NC. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and will be primarily responsible for reconciling outstanding invoices,  reviewing purchase orders, and maintaining a general ledger of the company’s expenses. The ideal candidate has 3+ of experience with data entry, bookkeeping, and experience using standard invoicing and vendor management software. Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in AP functions including verification of receipt of goods or services against the purchase order.
  • Preparing invoices  for payment by verifying invoices match the PO
  • Managing any invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal team as needed
  • Processing invoices for payment, verifying g/l and cost center coding correctness and ensuring vendor payments are processed timely
  • Ensuring that all credit memos for return and/or damaged items are issued by the vendor and properly documented within the AP system.
  • Filing of vendor invoices.
  • Verifying account balances on the monthly statement issued by the vendor, assisting in preparing checks for mailing.
  • Submitting new Vendor information/Vendor changes
  • Preparing monthly AP reports

Requirements:

  • 3+ years AP/Accounting/Invoicing experience
  • Minimum Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Data entry, organizational,  communication and problem resolution skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to interact both effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to  work independently and manage time wisely.
