Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a growing tile and marble company in the Raleigh area. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various duties in the accounting department including managing the checkbook and ensuring correct subcontractor payments. This is a direct hire opportunity to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain checkbook and send out daily cash summary
  • Prepare reports and reconcile bank statements
  • Manage petty cash account
  • Verify accuracy of invoices and update accounting journal ledgers
  • Handle all subcontractor payments and manage compliance needs
  • Prepare same-day checks/wires/ACHs
  • Record deposits into system and make online deposits
  • Ensure timely subcontractor certified payroll

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with MS Office particularly Excel
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Accounting role
  • Experience working with Spectrum or similar database system
  • Highly organized and detailed
  • Ability to work independently
