Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Clerk to join a leading construction team in Raleigh. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!   The Accounting Clerk role includes various duties in the Accounting department primarily related to managing the checkbook and subcontractor payments/compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain checkbook and send out daily cash summary
  • Manage petty cash account
  • Prepare same-day checks/wires/ACHs
  • Record deposits/make online deposits
  • Subcontractor payment applications
  • Ensure timely subcontractor certified payroll
  • Ensure timely OCIP/CCIP enrollment & monthly reporting

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required and Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficient and skilled in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced organization and attention-to-detail skills
  • A positive team player with high energy and a “Can Do” attitude
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure and possesses high-level multi-tasking skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
