Accentuate Staffing has a direct hire opportunity for a Cost Accounting Analyst for a client in Raeford, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong analytical skills, able to easily communicate with others and be self motivated. Relocation assistance available.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze actual cost versus SAP standard cost variances including, but not limited to Yield, Labor, Packaging and Overhead costs.
- Communicate results directly with Operations Management.
- Assists in the development and the maintenance of SAP master product costing data through working directly with Operations Management and R & D staff.
- Work closely with the business to develop and maintain performance indicators to track process and operational improvements i.e. business growth, new products/customers/ markets penetration, or revenue contributors
- Evaluate capital investments using financial modelling techniques.
Requirements:
- 4 year (Bachelor) degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Min one (1) year of relevant experience, preferably in the food mfg industry
- Product Costing knowledge preferred
- SAP system or other ERP systems knowledge preferred
- Highly skilled in the use of computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, AS400, SAP)
