Responsibilities:

• Support of the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization
• Completing month-end close process and preparation of general ledger account analysis
• Posting all relevant accounting journal entries
• Creation, analysis and posting of various month end accruals
• Identify and implement process improvement in the month end close process, including methods to accelerate overall close timeline while maintaining accuracy
• Perform and assist with identified account reconciliations and analysis
• Conduct sales agent commission process (accrual/payments)
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
• Assist with preparation of audit reports and inquiries
• Monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms to accurately record the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible)
• Tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and disposition
• Assist with preparation of company capex reporting requirements
• Complete special projects as assigned to support finance organization
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum work experience of 5+ years Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• NetSuite experience desired
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written, organizational skills
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize independently
• Self-motivated with a focus on process improvements
• Must be an outstanding communicator, and have established skills in accuracy, organization, and working in a high-volume environment
