Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Research Analyst to join a local company in the Raleigh area.  The Research Analyst Position oversees the development of special and urgent research projects requiring the collecting, reviewing, and analyzing a variety of information. The incumbent obtains bids and negotiates pricing with suppliers of partners services to ensure deliveries are made to customers as cost efficiently and timely as possible. Assists in rate approvals, and order review within the portal.

Responsibilities:

• Research potential routes and distances.
• Research new cities for delivery services and call potential partners/taxi services for rates, add them to the portal and follow up to answer questions and retrieve paperwork.
• Negotiate partners pricing for competitive rates in expanding areas.
• Explain the order process to partners to include wait time, POD process, and potential go live date.
• Intakes miscellaneous calls and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Serve as a backup for dispatching/Portal monitoring.
• Input facility and backup pharmacy information.
• Perform analysis and determine go live readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Strong, sound analytical skills and high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written, interpersonal, listening, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer keyboard and 10 key calculator skills.
• Mathematics skills including ability to calculate price mark-up, profit margin, rates comparisons, averages and percentage calculations.
• Organizational skills, critical thinking, team player, data analysis.
• Ability to comprehend and follow process oriented instructions.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of health insurance usage processes and/or procedures.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, required.
• Ability to type and use internet search engines such as Google or Yahoo, required.
• Be punctual and dependable.
• High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years relevant experience.
