Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Manufacturing Accountant to join a Manufacturing Company in Morrisville to support the accounting department in reporting, costing, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. The chosen candidate will have cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly financial, measurement, and reporting on production, inventory, variances and other financial metrics and information
• Provide support to the operations groups in reviewing and understanding data and data integrity
• Support of monthly/quarterly/yearly close: journal entries, variance analysis, and reporting
• Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
• Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures
• Maintain Cost Accounting System
• Prepare and post intercompany transactions
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations and accruals for accounts
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist in meeting all financial reporting deadlines
• Negotiate and maintain utilities contracts
• Ad Hoc analyses as needed

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or Finance required
• 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with Navision software a plus
• Strong financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Teamwork
