Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Leave of Absence Coordinator to join a local company in the Durham area. This is a long term contract position lasting one year.
This position will be responsible for the day to day administration of all company leave of absence. Will be administering leaves in accordance with company policy and in compliance with FMLA, ADAAA and any federal and state laws.
-Serve as the first point of contact for supervisor and or employee requesting or inquiring about a leave of absence
-Prepares, sends and tracks all LOA paperwork required.
-Manages employees LOA in HRIS and Payroll System
-Completing applicable state short term disability or paid leave claims received from the state
-Audit all LOA forms for signature, approval, completions and payments
-1 year of related experience
-Knowledge of FMLA, state leave laws, ADAA, HIPAA, and workers compensation laws and how they impact employer leave of absences
-High School Diploma required
