Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Order Entry Specialist to join an established company in the Holly Springs area. This position will be responsible for receiving customer purchase orders via e-mail, fax or mail and determining if product is available to ship out same day or if product is on back order.
• Enter sales orders into the system via customer purchase order received via fax, e-mail or customer’s web portal
• Convert sales quotes into sales orders
• Determine the best shipping method for each order if not stated on customer purchase order
• Process freight quotes for pre-pay and add orders that are shipping
• Update freight quotes that are older then 30 days
• Review each purchase order received for additional information that needs to be noted on the sales order
• Determine back order date for item/items that do not allocate
• Acknowledge and provide tracking in customer portals
• Processing any changes to orders based on customer approval via e-mail or fax
• Assist with special requests as needed
• Work with customer-sales staff in order clarification
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of data entry experience and the ability to type 45 words per minute
• The ability to utilize basic computer software including Microsoft Office Applications and ERP Systems
• Must possess a strong desire to learn and be a team player
• Experience in furniture industry, customer service or a related industry is a plus.
