Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an HR Generalist to join a local company in the Raleigh area. This position is primarily responsible for administering services, policies, and programs that deal with the needs and activities of the company’s employees.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Advises and counsels managers and supervisors on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment etc., and recommends needed changes.
• Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and procedures and advising management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Escalates to HR Director as necessary.
• Participates in the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes including training and delivery of the open enrollment communication materials.
• Performs benefits administration including claims resolution, employee assistance, and communication of benefit information to employees;
• Monitors and manages all leaves of absence (FML/STD/LTD) to ensure that reporting is current and accurate. Responsible for timely employee communication regarding leaves and to notify HR Director of all leave activities in a timely manner.
• Represents Company at unemployment hearings.
• Administers various human resources policies and procedures for all company employees; participates in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures;
• Participates in analysis of training and development needs and the design and implementation of those programs.
• Conducts full-cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt staff as assigned including, candidate screening, phone and in-person interviews and reference checks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
• One to two years related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
