Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Outreach and Media Relations Specialist to join an established company in the Raleigh area. This position will be responsible for the promotion of content marketing & digital PR campaigns to targeted lists of journalists, websites, and bloggers to secure media placements & mentions. This role will perform outreach (email, phone, and social) to a list of qualified opportunities based on campaigns, production schedules, and internal & client performance targets.

Requirements:
– B.A. or above in Journalism, PR & Communications, Marketing, or related field
-Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in Media/PR, sales, marketing, or communications
– Demonstrated understanding of online media & digital PR: follows blogs & news, contributes to online forums, active on twitter and other social networks
– Exceptional communication skills: written and oral
– Resourcefulness: Can find information quickly and independently
– Confident and enthusiastic, a ‘networker’ with hustle and get-it-done attitude
-Experience with campaign planning and digital PR outreach
-Familiar with contact list management, CRMs, and email marketing
Familiarity with link building and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles
