Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join an established company in the Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:
-Reviewing, verifying, and reconciling journal entries and accounting classifications.
-Applying your GAAP knowledge with minimal supervision.
-Developing a thorough understanding of the entire general ledger and your assigned transaction workflows.
-Performing advanced accounting functions including more complex general ledger account reconciliations and analyses.
-Assisting with the development of automated accounting systems, procedures, and financial reporting.
-Maintaining systems and procedures to ensure adequate controls for accounting functions such as cash from bank accounts, advances, receivables, deposits, lending, fixed assets, accounts payable property tax filing, federal reserve report filing, and misc. assets and liabilities.
-Providing backup and support to other team members and assisting with departmental projects.
-Serving as a consultant to other departments.

Requirements:
-Two years of experience as a staff accountant.
-Financial institution experience preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
