Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Buyer to join an established company in the Holly Springs/ Fuquay Varina area.  This position will manage a specific product category within the scope of the supply chain process. The role will require to be familiar with complete range of procurement activities. This includes the analysis of spend, the negotiations, and management of supplier relationships.  This is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities: 
• Manage commodity category, duration of contract, payment terms, pricing, delivery expectations, and stocking solutions.
• Help reduce order fulfillment time by procuring domestic products that are economical, timely and of acceptable quality without adding unacceptable risk.
• Demonstrate ways of working in pursuit of opportunities for cost reduction, value improvement and application of lean processes.
• Strive to become subject-matter expert.
• Provide daily support to Sales Organization regarding product availability and logistics.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to focus on category and product growth.
• Foster relationships with vendors that include trust, integrity, respect and mutual benefits.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Purchasing, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing
• Fundamental Procurement Capabilities
• Familiarity with international cultures, especially the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
• Strong influencer / Negotiator
• Familiarity and experience with International trade and U.S. Customs Laws & Regulations
• Subject-matter expert in personal care, textiles, footwear or Jan-San is preferred
