Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join an established company in the Farmville, NC area.  This position will provide superior service to both internal and external customers in order to meet or exceed customers’ needs and ultimately enhance the profitability of the North American Region.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain operating budgets for factory operations in the US.
• Monitor and explain budget to actual differences against the Annual Operating Plan and periodic reforecasts. Assist management in making recommendations to the standard recovery rate.
• Prepare analysis reports of actual costs against AOP or reforecast for the operations for review by management as required
• Review the manufacturing variance analysis on a monthly basis for accuracy/completeness
• Track and record cost activities into ERP system (SAP) for service activities
• Prepare cost allocations at month ends to facilitate management reporting
• Ensure standard costs are properly captured and product costing is completed accurately in the production accounting system
• Reconcile the sales and gross margin in the management reporting application of SAP to the general ledger
• Be responsible for various month end and quarter end financial reporting functions related to the US operations including reviewing invoices for services billed to for completeness and accuracy, reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing reporting schedules for corporate required reporting.

Requirements: 

• Four-year degree in business, accounting and/or comparable relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience (preferably at a multinational public company), including experience in a manufacturing environment
• CPA/CMA highly desirable
• Experience in an ERP environment, SAP software work experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to work extended evening and weekend hours during quarter-end and year-end reporting cycles as necessary.
• Must have the ability to effectively convey results of complex operational and financial analysis
• Neat in appearance, self-motivator, dependable, accurate and perform the job with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Word
• Good knowledge of Production Accounting and Financial Accounting systems. Prior experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
