Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join a well-established company in the Youngsville area.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements and financial reporting in a timely manner
• Lead month-end and year-end close process
• Manage fixed asset reports, sales and use tax and cash posting
• Support outside CPA firm with all necessary information related to tax filings and external audits
• Prepares all month end/year end reconciliations and assists senior management with financial reports
• Participates in special projects and assignments and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as an accountant with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• General knowledge of manufacturing and QuickBooks preferred. Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced Microsoft Excel skills in financial analysis.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to summarize conclusions and present transaction recommendations
• Ability to work with minimal oversight as well as in a cohesive team environment
