Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join a local company in the Youngsville area. This position provides clerical support to manufacturing as needed, including data entry into MRP system. This position will also handle typical receptionist duties, greets visitors via telephone/upon arrival and provides administrative support as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for timely labor entry into MRP — daily production sheets
• Runs MRP reports with ability to trend and graph MFG data in Excel
• Backup for Sales Order Entry, Purchase Order Entry and Buying, Shipping
• Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department; this may include taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
• As the first point of contact for welcomes visitors, determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate personnel; answers questions about the organization and provides visitors/callers with address, directions and other ‘approved’ information
• Monitors visitor logbook and ensures all visitors have a visitor badge
• Orders, receives and maintains all necessary office supplies
• Maintains fax and copier machines, assists users, etc.
• Receives, sorts and delivers mail
• Orders and picks-up lunches for visitors, customers and other guests
• Prepares coffee as needed, along with simple food items
• Assists with monthly birthday celebrations by coordinating date and ensuring the cake has been ordered; cutting and serving for
• Compiles booklets for customer visitors, employee handbooks and other information as needed
• Provides other administrative duties as needed, including, but not limited to filing, copying, maintenance of reports, labels, etc.
Requirements:
• Associates Degree- preferred
• Manufacturing clerical support experience using a MRP/ERP system
• Previous experience using a business telephone system and previous administrative experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and strong keyboarding skills
• Flexibility and ability to easily move from one task to another
• Ability to deal with constant interruptions and distractions
