Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Contract and Rebates Specialist to join a local pharmaceutical company in the RTP area.   This position will support the North America Commercial Organization. The purpose of this position is to administer, implement and coordinate all formal and informal bids, contracts and pricing for all commercial business. This includes but is not limited to, Hospital, GPO, Distributor, and Physician classes of trade.

Responsibilities:

• Review executed agreements and create contracts in CARS/FLEX system
• Enter new contracts into CARS/FLEX system based on the terms and conditions of the contract, which includes:
• Provide notification of new contracts to distributors including contract number, eligible customers, eligible products, and contract pricing as required by agreement.
• Review and Update contracts based on signed amendments
• Update contract terms and pricing in CARS/FLEX system as specified by amendment
• Provide notification to contract holders and distributors of updated pricing or terms when required
• Execute price changes for contracts as approved by pricing committee
• Provide individual contract price change notices to customers in various classes of trade within timelines required by contract terms
• Provide contract price change notices to distributors that include all active contracts
where distributor is listed as an ADR
• Update contract pricing for all active contracts within the CARS/FLEX system as specified by approved price change documents
• Create new contract documents and amendments and update contract templates as
needed/requested
• Work with Commercial Analytics group as needed to provide contract related information
• Work with internal and external auditors to ensure SOX compliance for all contract related processes
• Research customer information and compare to CARS/FLEX database for new trading partners created.
• Update customer information for trading partner as needed.
• Determine appropriate Class of Trade assigned to each trading partner as it
pertains to GP calculations.
• Validate customer contract eligibility based on contract terms and membership lists
• Work with contract holders and distributors to resolve disputes related to contract eligibility

Requirements:

• Associates Degree is required and
• At least 5-7 years of similar work experience is required
• Must be proficient with MS Office and have intermediate to advanced Excel skills
