Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading print manufacturing company in the Morrisville, NC area with hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations, focusing on productivity, efficiency, and quality outcomes
  • Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to implement Lean initiatives and drive measurable results
  • Build and execute improvement roadmaps aligned with company goals and performance targets
  • Facilitate improvement activities such as Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and value stream mapping sessions
  • Identify process gaps and lead root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods
  • Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean principles, 5S standards, and data-driven decision-making
  • Promote a culture shift toward accountability, process consistency, and continuous learning
  • Define, track, and report key performance metrics related to efficiency, waste reduction, and operational performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including safety, maintenance, and quality to uncover improvement opportunities
  • Standardize workflows and document best practices to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to 5S and standardized processes
  • Support change management initiatives and encourage employee engagement in improvement efforts
  • Provide updates to leadership on project progress, impact, and overall performance
  • Develop and refine Lean strategies to optimize manufacturing operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, or operational excellence roles
  • Proven success implementing and maintaining 5S programs in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, PDCA, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis tools
  • Ability to effectively train, coach, and influence teams across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments preferred
  • Familiarity with on-demand or fast-paced production settings is a plus
  • Experience using ERP or MES systems to support data-driven improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive cultural transformation
  • Previous leadership or team management experience preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
