Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Sales Accounting Analyst to join a growing company in the Mebane area.   This position will be responsible for managing business unit sales and margin reporting, developing ad hoc request reports for internal and external customers, maintaining customer rebates and commissions, and providing Sales and Marketing support.

Responsibilities:

• Managing customer rebate maintenance in accordance with business guidelines, including rebate letter prep, rebate calculation, monthly accrual analysis, payment support and rebate account reconciliation.
• Preparing year end closing statements, compiling budget information, creating detailed reporting and completing specific aspect analysis within the rebate program.
• Managing the maintenance, calculation and processing of approved commission programs.
• Compiling and distributing daily sales report for assigned business units.
• Providing ad hoc sales and margin reporting for various internal and external customers including business directors, NSMs, SSMs, DCM, and Finance.
• Providing oversight for the RFPI Process and new product pricing analysis.
• Analyzing returns and claims to provide trend reports and root cause.
• Month end accounting duties such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and business unit segment reporting.
• Analyzing and identifying any existing opportunities for price increases outside of defined margin expectations based on impact analysis of drivers (raw material, freight, etc), price pull through model simulation and identification of options to secure needed increase.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of accounting analyst experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data efficiently.
• Possesses professional written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications with a high level proficiency in Excel preferred.
