Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a highly respected client in Raleigh, NC in need of a Principle SQL DBA to join their growing staff. This is a contract role with a strong possibility of extending to a potential full-time role. In this position, you will act as a senior resource, providing advice and apply best practices within their current SQL Server environment. You will also build a variety of environments (in addition to design and development) for settings currently in production.

To be the fit, you must have a strong background with MS SQL Server ’12 (or ’08 R2 at a minimum) and have skills with installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, replication, optimization and security planning. If you have any knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.), that would be a huge plus!

Environment: MS SQL Server ’08 R2, MS SQL Server ’12, Hadoop, MongoDB
