Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing metal fabricator who is hiring a Powder Coat Painter to join their team. This is a contract-hire 2nd shift position working 4pm-12am Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
- Apply powder coatings using electrostatic equipment.
- Monitor coating quality and ensure a consistent, durable finish.
- Operate curing ovens and inspect completed parts for quality.
- Perform touch-ups or rework when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Read work orders and follow production and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of powder coating equipment and finishing processes a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well independently or as part of a team
