Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer of cabling products who is looking for an Industrial Electrician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 2nd shift, 3pm-midnight, and training on 1st shift.
Responsibilities:
- Industrial Electrician will provide electrical and electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering support of production machinery, power distribution, and utility systems
- Electrician will perform electrical preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance
- Electrician will operate, modify, and maintain electrical power distribution systems, lighting systems, power for receptacles, hvac power and controls, etc.
- Electrician will program, troubleshoot, and utilize programmable controllers, PLCs
- Electrician will adjust and coordinate complex machine automation systems
- Electrician will calibrate components and systems to ensure adherence to product specifications
- Electrician will fabricate and modify electrical operation and control enclosures for plant equipment
- Electrician will test equipment after repairs and modifications
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 1-3+ years experience as an electrician in an industrial environment
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Candidates must be proficient with PLC Programmers, Electric Motor Drives, Ammeters, Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Shop tools
- Machine installation experience required
