Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an insurance case manager to join a growing pharmaceutical company in the Cary area.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and must be able to jump in and start working.

Responsibilities:

-Complete benefits investigation within time constraints
-Utilize all available resources to obtain insurance coverage information for ordered services
– Verify patient insurance coverage for specific product regimens
-Facilitate prior authorization with insurance companies on behalf of the health care provider
-Manage inbound calls on the insurance line from patients, clients, physicians, practitioners and clinics regarding inquiries about services provided, financial responsibility and insurance coverage
-Prepare appeal packets and submit the necessary documents to the healthcare provider
-Set up delivery of medications and follow up to make sure the process is going as planned

Requirements:

– Experience with insurance, verifying benefits, and handling prior authorizations
– Able to multi-task
– Case Management experience is a plus
– Able to pass a drug and background check
