Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Property Accountant to join a well established Property Management Company in the Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Accounting for 20 commercial properties
• Review all property management financial reports for individual entities. Include analysis of rental revenue, tenant recovery, expenses & capital expenditures.
• Ensure all inter-entity transactions are in balance. Analyze and adjust all variances prior to financial reporting.
• Prepare all financial statements, including monthly, quarterly and year to date.
• Oversee all general accounting and control activities, including month-end close.
• Cooperate with independent auditors in conducting audits by preparing supporting schedules, explaining accounting practices and systems and supplying requested materials.
• Assist in resolving/answering different accounting questions as needed by staff.
• Prepare account reconciliation and journal entries and perform on-going analytical review in support of monthly close process.
• Work with Property Manager to prepare monthly analysis of account variances.
• Work with Property Manager on budgeting of individual properties
• Analyze and interpret financial information for owners.
• Analyze all compliance documents including regulatory and loan agreements and the accounting treatment associated with each document.
• Provide budget variance explanations to owners.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Process TICAM reconciliations into accounting system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly desired
• 5+ years Accounting experience
• Property Management /Real Estate Industry experience strongly preferred
• Yardi &/or MRI experience strongly preferred
• QuickBooks experience a plus!
