Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join a local company in the Raleigh area.   This position will be responsible for providing clients with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Small business exposure
• Windows proficiency, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• General ledger accounting experience through financial statements
• Experience working with multiple clients
• Project management
• Financial statement analysis
• Software evaluation
• Client needs assessment
• Work paper assembly
• General tax knowledge
• Reconstruction/cleanup projects
• Accounting setup projects
• Assist owner with producing standardized work process documents
• Train clients on QuickBooks
• This job may require travel to client sites

Requirements:

• MS Office software proficiency required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance preferred
• 5+ years of QuickBooks experience required
• Small business accounting exposure preferred
