Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Strategic Programs Project Coordinator to join a local company in the Durham area. This position will support the planning, implementation and evaluation of successful execution of assigned projects. This is a long term contract position.
Responsibilities:
*Planning and Monitoring
• Maintain detailed project schedules of all essential activities and deadlines for program events.
• Coordinate with project manager to ensure the completion of requirements at assigned event.
• If CE credits are to be applied, integrate CE documentation requirements in the planning process in order to ensure complete compliance with CE requirements and regulations.
• Provide accurate submission of all pertinent data in project databases such as faculty, program(s), budget, vendors, etc.
• Set up and complete project conference binder to archive all project information.
*Vendors
• Initiate, analyze and compare written quotes from vendors such as venues, editors, duplication companies. Assist in the selection of providers.
• Work with and oversee contracted vendors to optimize the execution of their services
*Budgeting
• Maintain understanding of project budget with Project Manager/Director/Supervisor.
• Assist in the budget management process as directed
*Printed Materials
• Gather pertinent information and draft conference materials.
• Initiate internal review process (Agile) of content and complete necessary content revisions.
*Project Manager/Director/Supervisor.
• Maintain/Update KOL list on Sharepoint site, and provide notification to relevant team.
*On-site
• Organize and lead pre-conference meeting with team.
• When on-site assist in the management of all meeting aspects, including audiovisual equipment, meeting rooms, slide requirements, transportation, safety/emergency procedures, etc.
Requirements:
• Two (2) year Associates degree required, four (4) year university degree preferred
• 2+ years as a coordinator in sales, marketing and/or a professional training department required
• Specialization in clinical education program coordination preferred
• Strong project management and event coordination experience
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs (including Word, Access, Power Point, and Outlook), experience with database programs preferred
• Ability to travel (up to 20%), including some weekends
