Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an HR Generalist to join an established company in the Raleigh area.  This position performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, recruiting, benefits management, and payroll functions. This position reports directly to the SVP-Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities: 
-Serves as an employee relations specialist, including managing employee communications, employee recognition initiatives and general employee well being.
-Maintains employee personnel files.
-Processes and manages all recurring and annual payroll functions with Paychex (US) and Payworks (Canada)
-Administers all activity associated with the 401k plan, including ongoing coordination with our TPA and coordination of annual audit.
-Manages and tracks any employee disciplinary action.
-Manages all recruiting efforts with department hiring managers
-New hire processing and onboarding.
-Off boarding and termination processing.
-Design, implement, communicate and administer employee policies.
-Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9 and runs E-Verify.
-Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner.
-Reports, maintains and monitors all workers’ compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
-Coordinates employee benefit plan activity
-Maintain ongoing relationships with staffing agencies for direct hire or temporary staffing needs.
-Manages FMLA, DOL, ERISA, IRS, State and ACA compliance and reporting.

Requirements: 
-SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or HRCI Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR)
-Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience.
-At least three years of HR generalist experience.
-Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
-Sound judgement and problem solving skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
