Accentuate Staffing is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client in the Cary, NC area.  The position will assist in the administration of the company’s entire accounting function, including but not limited to maintenance of current accounting procedures and systems, and the implementation of new procedures and systems as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data, prepare accounts/financial statements, and document business transactions
• Complete month-end closing procedures, including payroll
• A/P functions including entering bills and processing checks
• Oversee monthly bank statement reconciliation process and the company’s travel policy
• Assist in budget/cash flow forecast preparation, including analysis of revenue and expenditure trends
• Maintain the company’s accounting and administrative systems, including computer software systems and manual filing systems
• Evaluate accounting control procedures

Requirements

• CPA with 4 – 7 years of experience
• Undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field
• Previous professional experience with accounting practices and procedures
• Knowledge of financial/accounting software applications (Netsuite) is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• High attention to detail as well as excellent organization and communication skills
