Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Payroll and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a non-profit organization in the Raleigh area.   This is a full-time position offering excellent benefits. This position is responsible for accurately processing payroll, cash receipts, reconciliations and journal vouchers.

Responsibilities:
-Process bi-weekly payroll: to include reviewing of timecards for appropriateness, transmitting to payroll processing vendor, verifying accuracy and receiving payroll files. Prepare payroll journal vouchers for input into general ledger system.
-Inputs payroll data such as garnishments, benefit deductions and job allocation changes.
-Performs 941 and W-2 reconciliations.
-Accurately codes and prepares cash receipts journal vouchers.
-Reconciles employee FSA account and prepares journal voucher.
-Reconciles credit card receipts and prepares journal voucher.
-Performs accurate and timely data entry of cash receipts and journal vouchers for the Finance Department.
-Accurately allocates benefit invoices and prepares journal voucher.
-Prepares accurate and timely Financial Status Reports (FSRs).
-Maintains accurate files and records by appropriately organizing, creating files and labels, copying, filing, and shredding.
-Prepares accurate and timely accounting, managerial and compliance reports for internal and external purposes as applicable.
-Performs accurate and timely data entry of internal reporting at year-end, to include reversion accruals.

Requirements:
-Associate’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Experience with Flex-Pay payroll system is a plus.
-A valid driver’s license is required.
