Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Part Time Administrative Assistant to join an established company in the Raleigh area.  This position performs clerical and administrative duties related to the business transactions of the branch.

Responsibilities: 
-Provides friendly and efficient customer service
-Answers incoming customer calls as well as greets and assists visitors
-Responsible for entering new customer information in the computer system
-Follows-up on credit applications by contacting customer references and submitting the information to the Credit Department for approval
-Files customer orders and other branch records
-Processes cash sales and credit card transactions and maintains detailed log sheets on those transactions
-Responsible for petty cash and reconciles local bank statement for Branch Manager approval
-Enters purchase orders as necessary
-Perpetually receives inventory
-Reviews supplier acknowledgement for accuracy
-Matches purchase orders to material invoices and approves for payment taking advantage of all discounts and other payment terms
-Reviews, validates and codes non-inventory invoices and submits to Branch Manager for approval
-Creates and manages the debit memo process
-Performs order billing function and reviews summary before giving to Branch Manager for approval; review of journals for proper costing, review pre-bill report
-Works with Corporate Supply Chain team to reconcile inventory discrepancies and material disputes
-Purchases and maintains inventory of office supplies

Requirements: 
-High school diploma required
-At least 2 years of Administrative work history
-Accounting knowledge preferred
-MS Office proficiency
