A local non-profit in the Raleigh area is currently looking for a Procurement and Contracts Analyst to join their team! This position is responsible for a wide variety of procurement, grant, and contract activities. Purchase orders from all departments will be reviewed for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing policies and procedures to determine the most cost effective and efficient method of procurement. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

-Coordinates the request for proposal (RFP) and request for application (RFA) processes. Supports Department personnel in preparing, issuing, evaluating and awarding of complex formal and informal solicitations.
-Prepares contracts and provides contract maintenance. Responsible for collaborating with all departments in the preparation of contracts and contract amendments.
-Coordinates purchasing and maintains supply levels. Works with staff to ensure purchases are in accordance with state and federal laws, and policies and procedures.
-Maintains fixed assets. Maintains detailed and accurate fixed asset schedules in accordance with state, federal, funder, and policies and procedures.
-Provides documentation, training and technical assistance to staff. Provides staff, potential vendors and contractors, clear and helpful guidance on the policies and procedures applicable to bidding and acquisition of goods and services while ensuring compliance with applicable state, federal, funder, and requirements.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Management AND a minimum of three years of progressive experience involving state government and/or non-profit grants, contracts, and procurement, OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
-Identify State and federal laws and grantor requirements that will affect the letting of grants, preparation of contracts, and the procurement of goods and services.
-Must be knowledgeable of state and federal procurement statutes and regulations, and be able to discern requirements included in grants from other funders.
-Working knowledge of competitive bidding, grant, contract, procurement, and fixed asset processes in state government and/or non-profit sector.
-Working knowledge of Office 365 and Sharepoint, preferred.
-Occasional travel; must possess valid NC driver’s license.
