Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an HR Manager to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Durham area. This position is responsible for policy, staffing, employee relations, benefits and compensation, performance management, organizational development and training, records management, reporting, administration and legal/regulatory compliance.
This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
-Policy, Data Management and Workflow
-Monitors and maintains employee policy documents; serves as front-line resource to the organization, providing information and interpretation as requested
-Maintains up-to-date and compliant employee files and HR information related to benefits, job descriptions, compensation etc.
-Responsible for HRIS data management (ADP Workforce Now preferred); provides backup payroll support
-Generates HR reports, analyzes data, and performs audits
-Provides research and analysis to support HR metrics, presentations, and policy development
-Coordinates and/or supports organizational training and development activities
-Responsible for processing benefit plan enrollments, changes and terminations; coordinates with HR colleagues, payroll, and benefits providers; acts as a liaison between employees and providers in cases of enrollment or claims discrepancies
-Coordinates employee life cycle activities and processes, from employee hiring to performance management to exits/separations
-Proposes and develops timely communications to employees regarding benefits, policies, HR trainings and meetings, Lunch & Learns and similar events
-Responsible for recruitment at the corporate site as well as support for other locations as needed
Requirements:
-A Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Organization or related discipline
-7-10 years of work experience in a progressive HR Department
-Demonstrated hands-on experience with performance management, benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and employment law
-Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
-Superior writing skills to support correspondence, reports, and employee communications
-Solid understanding of employee law fundamentals (FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, ACA, etc.)
-Solid understanding of employee health and welfare benefits, including plan documentation
-Demonstrated solid capabilities in MS Office software & project management experience
-HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP/SCP) preferred
-Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing company a plus (corporate or plant environment)
