Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to join a local company in the RTP area.  This position is responsible for administrative functions within the Purchasing department.  The individual must be able to communicate with PO request originators/budget managers regarding purchase order distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage electronic loading of purchase orders and respective files to document repository
  • Communicate and distribute all purchase orders for expenses
  • Generate and distribute weekly departmental reporting
  • Monitor indirect purchasing ERP system and follow up with appropriate team members to assure PO process is complete in a timely manner
  • Log weekly meeting notes and distribute to the team
  • Prioritize and manage day to day issues, resolving appropriately or escalate to management as needed
  • Support implementation or continuous improvement of ERP system, as required.
  • update coordinator duties as necessary regarding process changes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or at least 3 years relevant purchasing support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel – ability to work with pivot tables
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
