Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a local company in the Raleigh area.  This position will manage the accounts payable process from collecting invoices, coding and entering all invoices for a territory.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and confirm all invoices have appropriate documentation backup, and approvals prior to payment.
• All utility, service, maintenance, phone invoices; resolve issues and concerns.
• Enter all invoices in a timely, accurate manner into the companies accounting software to assure proper account coding and ability of company to take advantage of vendor payment discounts.
• Pull and prepare all backup for attachment to check stubs during weekly check run process.
• Calculate and pay Sales & Use Taxes
• Assist payroll with the processing of all garnishment checks
• Weekly UPS electronic payment
• Prepare reports to assist the Accounting Supervisor in the proper selection of appropriate invoices for payment in the company check run process.
• Prepare end of year 1099 tax forms for independent contractors.
• Track and manage utility payments and prepare reporting package for management to review information timely and accurately.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor statements monthly to correct any discrepancies through a thorough review process to assure the organization is paying for only what was received, and at the appropriate agreed upon price. Execute by the 10th of each month.
• Maintain company files by vendor to assure proper documentation, backup, is available for review. Audit to assure accurate and timely compliance with all company internal control policies and procedures.
