Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Collections Specialist to join a prominent company in the Raleigh area. People in this role must have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work a modified second shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

-Counsel borrowers by phone, demonstrating adherence to customer service goals, guidelines and objectives.
-Regular attendance is essential.
-Place outbound collection calls.
-Take incoming phone calls related to the servicing of borrowers loans in repayment or prior to repayment.
-Update information related to demographic information supplied by borrowers.
-Perform servicing activities, including but not limited to, changing critical records related to the borrower’s situation.

Requirements:

-High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2+ years related experience/training OR associates degree from and accredited institution with 1+ year related experience/training preferred.
-2+ years related work experience in student lending environment
