Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a part-time HR Generalist to join an established pharmaceutical company in the RTP area. This position will be responsible for supporting the NC R&D group, to include recruiting, new hire on-boarding, employee relations, workers compensation, benefits administration, performance management, exit interviews. This position will be an average of 16 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Lead recruiting efforts — prepare JDs, search/review recruiting websites, prepare ads for online & local newspaper publishing, dealing with agencies, offer letters, e-Verify, etc.
• On-board new hires & temps — conduct all pre-hire process (drug testing, background checks, etc.) conduct orientation process and follow up on all new hire paperwork. Employee relations-answering employees questions and assisting management with resolutions
• General office administration: filing, organizing
• Assist with A/P, Purchasing, (IT preferred)
• Organizing meetings and events: picnic, holiday parties, luncheons, other celebrations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, or related field with experience of min. 3+ years
• Must have very strong knowledge all employment laws from ACA, FMLA, NJFLA, ADA, ADEA, COBRA, USERRA, OSHA, PDA, IRCA, HIPAA, DOL unemployment claims, FLSA, Title VII — wage and hour laws, EEO-1 Annual report, etc.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred
