Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing company in the Smithfield area.  This position will support and collaborate with Accounting, and other internal groups to ensure the development and operation of financial systems, reporting and controls for achieving the processing and accountabilities for the functional groups.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for key areas of monthly financial close and reporting
• Prepares key monthly and quarterly management reports and presentations
• Applies knowledge of key financial indicators/measures to evaluate alternative courses of action and to select optimal solutions.
• Communicates information on business strategies and relationships that become the basis for analysis and development of performance measures.
• Develops and maintains a ‘dashboard’ to report on key performance metrics on a regular basis
• Work with Sales and Marketing to isolate existing product and customer segments that are performing well from those that are not achieving established goal, so that operations management can develop an action plan that will improve segment and overall company performance.
• Reviews and validates budgets and business plan for relevance, accuracy and completeness.
• Challenges ideas, assumption and conclusions of others.
• Integrates operating and capital budgets with the strategic plan.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in business administration with emphasis in finance and accounting.
• A minimum of 3+ years experience in budgeting and analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or electronics design preferred
• Strong systems experience, SAGE, Oracle, MAS 500, SAP, and/or other ERP financial and reporting packages a must; strong to expert proficiency in Excel required
