Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join an established company in the Raleigh area. This position is responsible for developing marketing strategies and tactics related to an assigned product portfolio in target markets that will increase the amount of associated leads, sample requests, and orders.
Will relocate for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates with sales staff to identify customers with possible customized needs, drive activities to create demand for assigned products.
• Works with technical staff, including medical advisory board, to confirm specifications for products.
• Evaluates new product potential by:
o Researching and analyzing the existing market and the products being marketed by potential clients and products being manufactured by competing companies;
o Forecasting sales of products within existing and potential markets;
o Assessing the ability of products to meet current and potential needs.
• Leads the marketing development effort to bring new products from concept through commercialization including market exit.
• Prepares and writes brochures and sales materials.
• Develops and executes competitive strategies based on thorough competitive intelligence and market analysis.
• Provides market intelligence and market research, feedback from the field on product launches, acceptance, and market conditions.
• Defines customer requirements for new products and product enhancements as assigned.
• Stays abreast of all clinical and regulatory requirements (both existing and proposed) for the product group.
• Manages and mines existing client relationships for opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Observes all company policies and follows company procedures.
• Performs other functions as directed by the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Requirements:
• Must have medical device experience and specifically suture experience
• Travel up to 50% and will include international travel
• B.S. or B.A. preferred in marketing, business, health/biological/clinical science.
• Minimum of 5 years demonstrated product management experience in the medical device marketplace.
• Minimum of 3 years marketing experience with additional experience in medical device marketplace may be considered.
• Product management/marketing/medical device experience should be relevant to product/product line.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
