Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist to join a major pharmaceutical company in the RTP area.  This position is responsible for applying Human Resources (HR) partnering skills in a high volume call center environment, with an emphasis on employee relations case management.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and resolve simple to complex employee relation issues and investigations.
-Manages and provides early intervention and support resolution for employee relations issues.
-Acts independently and has an aptitude for networking in a diverse and complicated organizational structure.
-Responds to, investigates and provides recommendations to resolve employee relations concerns reported to the Employee Relations Call Center, Hotline, Issue Resolution Policy or other means. -Documents all activity, advice, resolution and prepares investigative reports. Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding employee concerns.
-Coach and advise managers on employee relations best practices, policy, programs or processes and how to respond to workplace issues appropriately.
-Ensure compliance of state and federal laws as well as company policy.
-Educates and trains HR staff and front line management on Employee Relations policies and procedures.
-Works with employment law team to respond to EEOC, DOL and other legal claims.
-Responds to unemployment claims for all companies.

Requirements:

-3-5 years of employee relations experience with in a retail, restaurant or manufacturing environment
-Must have proven experience supporting non-exempt employees
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
-Must be proficient with MS Office
-PHR Certification is preferred
