Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Senior Collections Specialist to join an established company in the Raleigh area.  This position will be responsible for commercial domestic and international A/R collections, cash/credit applications, preparing aging analyses, credit evaluations, mitigating depot/customer disputes, interactions with managers, customers and depot personnel, account reconciliations, on-going quantitative analyses coupled with general A/R duties.

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for the Company’s positive cash flows and increasing cash position.
– Able to successfully research and mitigate domestic/foreign customer disputes professionally and timely while maintaining high customer relations and interacting with depot staff.
– Cash forecasting.
– Diligent at customer collections and maintaining accurate A/R information.
– Knowledge of lockboxes, deposits and wires (processing/application), Visa/MC/AMX (postings and applications).
– Applying customer credits/debits timely and accurately.
– Establishing new customer credit lines and reviewing existing customer credit terms.
– Cash applications coupled with A/R reconciliations.
– Assists and coordinates with other staff members to ensure the department’s efforts are consistent, efficient and effective.
– Various administrative duties and special projects/analyses as assigned.

Requirements:

-BA or BS degree required
-Five (+) years of full-cycle credit/collections experience.
-Self-starter/team player with a high-energy level; able to work independently.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
