Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join a local technology company in the Cary area. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills and will work well in a fluid, dynamic fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Customer service oriented with strong people skills and a drive to negotiate and satisfy customers while employing policy
• Experience leading requests for the quotation and bidding processes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contract approvals
• Ability to build/maintain relationships and communicate with suppliers and internally on a cross-functional basis
• Experience supporting accounting procedures including receiving of goods / services, and period-end reconciliations
• Developed improvement programs to reduce costs including both purchased goods and internal processing, improving reliability, and insuring quality
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
Requirements:
• Experience working within both a corporate and small/mid-sized business environment
• MS Dynamics/Great Plains
• 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, and procurement in a technology focused industry
