Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join a local company in the Raleigh area.  The role of the Financial Analyst is to gather and analyze information to assist management with treasury and financial functions including cash flow forecasting, investing, compliance and debt management. In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting with business processes including analyzing and preparing billing information, preparing forecasts, and other services. The Financial Analyst will also assist with financial and tax reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts for each company.
• Prepare investment recommendations for all companies.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the companies and the commercial bank account representatives.
• Monitor investments for compliance with Board policies and prepare periodic reports on compliance.
• Perform reviews of investment portfolio performance and prepare reports.
• Prepare monthly billing and revenue and expense schedules.
• Prepare financial projections and analyze variances from actual results.
• Prepare capital expenditure and construction loan applications.
• Prepare loan advance request documentation.
• Maintain accounting portion of the Catawba capital additions database.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Accounting/Finance division and the Power Supply division to identify and document accounting treatment for new purchased power contracts, hedging instruments and/or power plant transactions.
• Assist in the coordination of the external audit and tax return preparation.
• Prepare periodic financial statements for external parties.
• Perform detailed review of new accounting standards to determine applicability for all companies.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with concentration in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field required.
-CPA required.
-1-3 years Public Accounting experience required.
-BIG 4 experience preferred.
