Accentuate Staffing is Recruiting for a Marketing Manger to join a growing global distributor in the Durham area.  This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of on-site activation of trade-show / sampling / direct consumer contact sales events, including follow up
• Assist the Director & Senior Director in the overall marketing planning process, including future trends and areas for improvement to maximize presence in existing, new and emerging markets / networks
• Develop and initialize in-store displays, merchandising materials, and collateral / training materials, in concert with brand / product sales teams
• Establish and cultivate relationships with PR agencies, local/national press, other interest groups
• Establish and develop partnerships / sponsorship
• Provide input to develop creative advertising plans to targeted publications
• Identify and recommend opportunities for e-commerce, social media presence
• Assist in the development and coordination of in-store sales training initiatives and objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year university or college, preferably in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years marketing / sales / coordination — concentration on brand(s) strategy / planning / positioning / new product launch
• Experience with team / employee management within a corporate environment
• Multi-media planning experience (print, social, online, etc.)
• Product show / event / sponsorship planning & activation
• Familiarity with MS Office suite, including MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook (office automation)
• Demonstrated presentation skills
• Ability to travel
