Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Manager of Mortgage Servicing. This position provides vision and strategic planning to mortgage servicing group including foreclosure prevention program. Oversees portfolio of over $1 billion in single family and multifamily loans. Manages day-to-day operations related to in-house serviced loans (payment processing, escrows, collections, etc.) and monitors master servicers for their performance on servicing Agency loans.
Responsibilities:
-Develops servicing business plan, maximizing return through automation, staff deployment, and effective management of master servicers and/or subservicers.
-Determines business group needs, performing necessary analysis to substantiate changes in current policy, computer systems and staff.
-Prepares annual budget to accommodate business group’s operations.
-Oversees all aspects of direct servicing, default intervention, and reporting procedures for all Agency loans (i.e. MRB, HILP, Catalyst, LINC, Self-Help, Special Purpose, Special Needs, New Homes, Duke Power, Rental Production, rehab, etc.).
-Develops and maintains all Agency policies and procedures for servicing documents as required by FHA/FNMA/GNMA/USDA/VA, other federal insurance and private mortgage insurance companies to ensure Agency compliance for all loan programs.
-Oversees analysis of delinquencies, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and other risk factors that impact the Agency’s loan portfolio; prepares management report, summarizes data and makes recommendations for revisions in underwriting/servicing guidelines.
-Supervises assigned professional and technical servicing staff, providing day-to-day direction, technical and developmental training, and preparing performance reviews.
-Performs short and long-term special projects as industry and Agency standards necessitate (i.e., interim financial reporting, comparative analysis of servicers’ performance, communication of loan information from servicers, development of Agency-wide loan filing system, and changes in servicing agreements, etc.).
-Supervises the performance of annual and periodic on-site monitoring and quality assurance reviews of all single family and multifamily servicing institutions, participates directly when necessary.
-Conducts training and informational seminars on servicing operations and oversees the development of materials for seminars for servicing staff, contracted servicers and other Agency and non-Agency personnel as required.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field
-Five years’ experience in servicing of residential mortgage loans, including the management of foreclosures and other real estate owned properties; or an associate’s degree and seven years’ mortgage servicing experience is required.
-Three years’ supervisory experience is required.
-Additional multifamily and CRA product knowledge preferred.
-An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
