Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join a local company in the Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:

– Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
– Performs moderately complex account analysis and reconciliation
– Develops and prepares standard reports and statements.
– Examines documents to verify conformance to pertinent policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
– Monitors and reviews accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
– Ensures financial records are documented and maintained in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
– 1-3 years experience relevant experience
– General knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
– Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications including; Word, Excel (Advanced), Access, and PowerPoint. Experience with Cloud Based Software desired
-Healthcare Industry experience preferred
